Legal information
Privacy, cookies, and terms
This page explains how a production version of this residential plumbing website should handle service-request data, what website technologies are currently used, and the terms that apply when you visit or submit a request.
Effective: July 26, 2026 · Last reviewed: July 26, 2026
Tidewell Plumbing is a placeholder brand for a website demonstration serving Williamsburg, Virginia. Before launch, the operating business must insert its legal identity, working privacy contact, actual service practices, credentials, and jurisdiction-specific terms. Our Studio LLC provides website design and technology; it is not the trade contractor or service business shown in this demo.

Privacy Notice
This notice applies to information submitted through this website and ordinary technical information generated when the website is used. On an enabled production site, the business receiving and handling the service request is the data controller or responsible business. Our Studio LLC and infrastructure providers may process data only as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and deliver the website and its forms.
Information collected
| Category | Examples | Why it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Contact details | Name, phone number, email address, preferred contact time | To identify you and respond to your request |
| Request details | Service type, property or service area, timing, message, project details | To understand, route, estimate, schedule, and handle the requested service |
| Feedback | Rating, comments, and any contact details you choose to provide | To review a customer experience and follow up when appropriate |
| Technical and security data | IP address, browser and device data, request time, server logs, anti-spam signals | To deliver the website, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the forms |
Please do not submit sensitive information. Do not place Social Security numbers, payment-card details, account passwords, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive data in a free-text field.
How information is used
- Respond to a callback, estimate, appointment, or feedback request.
- Send the request to the appropriate owner, dispatcher, estimator, technician, or authorized team member.
- Communicate about the specific request, including by phone, email, or text when that is what you requested or reasonably expect.
- Maintain website reliability, detect spam or misuse, keep records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
- Improve the service workflow using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.
No sale or third-party marketing
Personal information submitted through the forms is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. It may be disclosed only for proper handling of the request and ordinary business operations:
- To the relevant business owner and authorized team members who need it to respond or provide service.
- To Our Studio LLC when it supports the website or form-routing technology, acting only for website operations and not for its own marketing.
- To necessary service providers such as hosting, security, storage, email or message-delivery vendors—including Telegram where that delivery integration is configured—acting under instructions and only as needed to provide those services.
- When required by law, legal process, safety needs, fraud prevention, or a business transfer, subject to applicable protections.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, maintain appropriate service and business records, protect the website, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention may differ for an active job, warranty, payment, tax record, security log, or unresolved dispute. Reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards should be used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices, access, correction, and deletion
You may ask the operating business to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your request, or to stop an optional communication. Use the website contact form or listed contact channel and put “Privacy Request” at the start of the message. Include enough information to locate the request, but do not send identity documents unless specifically and securely requested. The business may verify your identity and may retain information when required for legal, fraud-prevention, security, transaction, or recordkeeping reasons.
Where applicable law provides additional rights, such as portability, opt-out, or appeal rights, those rights will be honored. To appeal a response, send a second request labeled “Privacy Appeal.” The business will respond within the period required by applicable law. Because this is a placeholder demo, a working privacy-request channel must be configured before production use.
Children
This website is intended for adults seeking property or local services and is not directed to children under 13. Do not knowingly submit a child’s personal information through the forms.
External services and links
The website may load fonts, icons, maps, or other resources from third-party providers. Those providers receive ordinary connection data, such as an IP address and browser information, and apply their own privacy terms. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; their practices are not controlled by the operating business or Our Studio LLC.
Privacy changes and contact
This notice may be updated when the website, vendors, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised for material updates. Privacy questions and requests should be sent through the website contact route with “Privacy Request” in the message.
02
Cookie Notice
The current demo is not configured with advertising pixels, behavioral advertising, or analytics cookies. It does not intentionally use personal information for targeted advertising.
Strictly necessary technology
An enabled form handler may use a short-lived session cookie or similar security mechanism to rate-limit requests, maintain form integrity, or prevent abuse. This technology is used only when necessary to provide the form or security function requested by the visitor.
Third-party resources
Some pages load resources such as web fonts, icon libraries, or map embeds from external providers. Even when this site does not set a marketing cookie, those providers may receive IP address, browser, device, referring-page, and request-time information and may use cookies or similar technology under their own terms. You can block third-party content with browser privacy settings, though maps, fonts, or icons may not display correctly.
Your controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block, and delete cookies or restrict third-party storage. Blocking a strictly necessary session cookie can prevent a form from working. If analytics, advertising, chat, personalization, or other non-essential technologies are added later, this notice must be updated and any consent control required by applicable law must be implemented before those technologies load.

Terms of Use
Acceptance
By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit a form. These website terms do not replace a signed estimate, work order, service agreement, warranty, or other contract with an operating service business.
Demo and placeholder status
Tidewell Plumbing is a fictional placeholder used to demonstrate a website layout. Testimonials are sample copy, phone numbers use fictional 555 numbers, and addresses or availability statements are placeholders. Nothing on this demo proves that a real business is licensed, insured, available, or authorized to perform work. Those facts must be verified and replaced before launch.
Service information and estimates
Website content is general information, not a guaranteed offer, diagnosis, quote, schedule, code opinion, or emergency response. Services, pricing, availability, credentials, warranties, permits, and project requirements must be confirmed directly with the actual operating business. Do not rely on a website form for an emergency. Contact emergency services, the relevant utility, or an appropriate licensed professional when immediate safety is at risk.
Form submissions and communications
You agree to provide accurate information that you are authorized to share. By submitting a service request, you ask the operating business and its authorized team to contact you about that request using the contact details you provide. This permission is limited to handling the request and is not consent to sell your data or share it for third-party marketing.
Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit malware or unlawful content, use automated systems to overwhelm forms, impersonate another person, or use the website in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
Ownership
Unless stated otherwise, website design and software are owned by or licensed to Our Studio LLC, while production business names, logos, photographs, and business-specific content are owned by or licensed to their respective owners. No license is granted except the limited right to use the website for its intended purpose.
External services
Third-party links, maps, fonts, icons, hosting, and message-delivery services may be subject to separate terms. Neither the operating business nor Our Studio LLC controls third-party sites and does not endorse or guarantee them merely by linking to or loading them.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties about uninterrupted access, completeness, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operating business and Our Studio LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
Unless a signed service agreement states otherwise, these website terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
Changes and questions
These terms may be revised as the website or service model changes. Continued use after an updated version is posted means the updated website terms apply from their effective date. Send questions through the website contact route.
